Collective Weaving during show
No Design
Similar to the other collectively made carpets, there was no design plan. The loom was there to emphasize the importance of the act of weaving together: connecting over connecting threads and getting to experience a brief moment of labour intensive craftsmanship.
Unfinished
The Graduation Show lasted 5 days, after which the carpet was not finished. The loom traveled on to other places, such as Future Play Festival at Nieuwmeer in 2018 and OBJECT Rotterdam during Rotterdam Art Week 2019. However, this collective carpet remains unfinished.
