Natural Avocado Dye in glass jars
Two months before the show, the Rietveld Canteen saved avocado seeds for me, from which I made natural dye baths to color the wool with that would be used for Collective Weaving during the show.
The already used dye water was placed back in the window frame for the exhibition. Here, they had already stood for weeks to absorb as much sunlight as they could, as this process intensified the color.
