Regularly, I invite young emerging artists to my studio to paint together in silence with earth pigments, while we reflect on questions that relate to our practise, our careers and the position of an artist in this time.
Last week's Visual Dialogue with @chaechup revealed our similarities: two messy working artists who feel most at home with windows completely uncovered, who are inspired by language that we can't understand and who would answer a question like 'did the pandemic affect your music' with a blunt YES.
